Where It All Began
The Mattress Nook was founded by Gary Moyse. Gary was
the prior owner of Furniture Nook in North Royalton, Ohio. The
Furniture Nook has been a family owned and operated store for the since
1991. Upon his early retirement in 2003, Gary handed the business
over to his son.
Gary's Philosophy
Gary recently decided to return to the furniture industry.
However, he also wanted to simplify his lifestyle by targeting certain
items.
Overhead has always been a number one concern for Gary, as it
directly reflects on the cost to the customer. He determined that
there was no need for fancy showrooms. High-end quality products
at affordable prices became the primary objective. Being honest
and fair in business generates success simply by word of mouth.
Hence, with these key concepts, the Mattress Nook was opened in
mid-2007.
